Acquisition of Steyrermühl (takeover from January 1st 2024). Heinzel Group becomes a strategic investor in project to build Paraguay's first pulp mill; Paracel.

Start-up of PM3 in Pöls

2017

Conversion of PM10 in Laakirchen to containerboard successfully completed

Acquisition of the Raubling containerboard and Chiemgau Recycling at the end of the year

First full business year of the new PM2, the Starkraft kraft paper machine in Pöls; investment in a biogas plant for Estonian Cell

2013

Acquisition of the paper mill in Papierfabrik Laakirchen and of 51% of the shares in Bunzl & Biach

Acquisition of the paper wholesaling business from PaperlinX in Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia by Europapier; sale of the remaining share in Biocel Paskov.

Acquisition of 100% of Estonian Cell

Sale of 75% of the shares in Biocel Paskov; acquisition of Europapier

Start-up of Estonian Cell
